Administering a Noxious Substance does not just include poison, but this charge can include drugs that are given to a person without their knowledge or consent. This offence often arises in situations where the accused gives their date the date rape drug (GHB) to the complainant without his or her knowledge or consent. Sometimes, the offence may arise in cases when the complainant consents to a drug, but the drug itself resulted in serious harm or death.
You have a right to remain silent, and it is important to do so. The police may attempt to engage you in conversation, but they are only looking for further information to convict you. Therefore, you must remain silent. If there is something that needs to be said, it can be said through your lawyer at Court. You are entitled to speak to a lawyer upon detention or arrest – make sure you do.

Ultimately he did not think it was a good use of my limited funds to hire him as he believed my issues were not meant for a court room as the matter was a non-criminal event though police had become involved. Ultimately, his advice (free) to just avoid my neighbour was so common sense even if my ego could not see that prior to Mr. East’s involvement. He explained how quickly a neighbour, or any dispute, can become a criminal matter if one does not act prudent.
