Theft for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

Theft for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

Taking or using another person’s credit card or credit card information without their express permission or knowledge. Any use in this context is considered Fraud. Possession of a stolen or forged credit card is also illegal. Knowingly using cards or information that is not permitted regardless of the amount of monetary value is unlawful. Sentencing for a conviction of this offence can be up to 10 years in jail and an order requiring the restitution to the victim(s) of the value lost to them.

We are fighters by nature and understand that Thefts are often committed out of need as opposed to some innate criminal disposition. The truth of the matter is that some people need to steal to survive. We don’t like to see anyone get pushed around in life or their rights stepped on. We are here to help clients out and to get them a fair shake at the justice system hearing their side of the story and get them the best outcome possible.
